Privacy notice

This notice explains how Pramilia Private Limited (“Pramilia”, “we”, “us”), a private limited company incorporated in India under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN U62011HP2026PTC013111), handles personal data in connection with pramilia.com. Our company details are under Contact & company details.

What we collect

  • When you contact us — through the contact form or by email — we receive your name, work email address, organisation and topic if you give them, and anything you write in your message. The form normally opens your own email app with the message ready to send. If it is instead sent directly from the page, it is delivered to our mailbox by a form-delivery service (see below).
  • When you visit the site — our hosting provider processes standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, to deliver and secure the site. We do not currently keep our own access logs.

The website does not use analytics, advertising trackers or user accounts.

The Ask Pramilia assistant

  • It is an AI, and optional. Nothing of it loads until you open it. It answers from this website’s content and can be wrong, so please check anything important with us.
  • What happens to your messages. Your questions and the conversation so far are sent to Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock, in the United States) to produce a reply. AWS does not store them or use them to train models.
  • What we keep. Usually nothing but counts, such as how many chats there were. If you tick “Save this chat”, we keep that conversation, with email addresses and phone numbers masked, to improve the assistant’s answers. It is set to expire after 30 days and is deleted automatically within a few days of that.
  • Preventing abuse. To limit how many messages one visitor can send, we keep a pseudonymised form of your IP address (a one-way code made with a random value that changes every day, not the address itself). It is set to expire after two hours and is deleted automatically within a few days of that.
  • Contacting us from the chat. If you send your details through the assistant’s contact form, they go to us through Web3Forms, just like the contact form.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss a possible engagement, on the basis of the consent you give when you send us a message.
  • To operate, secure and troubleshoot the website.
  • To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

Who else processes it

  • Hosting and delivery — the site is hosted on Amazon Web Services (Amazon S3 and Amazon CloudFront).
  • AI assistant — the Ask Pramilia assistant runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS Lambda, Amazon Bedrock and Amazon DynamoDB) in the United States. See The Ask Pramilia assistant.
  • Domain name service — Cloudflare provides DNS for pramilia.com. Traffic to the site does not pass through Cloudflare.
  • Email — our mailboxes are provided by Zoho Mail, using its India data centre.
  • Contact form delivery — where the form is sent directly from the page rather than through your email app, Web3Forms receives the message and forwards it to our mailbox.
  • Booking a consultation — the booking button and QR code on the contact page open a booking page on SmartQS, Pramilia’s own appointment product, which runs as a separate service from this website at smartqs.app. There you give your name, your mobile number, the time and person you would like to meet and, if you choose, your email address, and we use them to confirm the booking. The QR code image is loaded from SmartQS as well, so that service receives your IP address and browser details when the contact page loads.

Some of these providers may process data outside India.

How long we keep it

Saved assistant conversations are set to expire after 30 days, and the pseudonymised IP addresses used to limit messages after two hours; both are then deleted automatically, normally within a few days. Enquiry emails are kept for as long as needed to respond. If an engagement follows, we keep the related records for the period required by law and our contracts. We delete enquiries that do not lead to an engagement once we no longer need them to respond or to meet a legal obligation. Our hosting and email providers keep their own operational records for limited periods under their own terms.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and other laws that may apply to you, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Write to contact@pramilia.com with “Privacy” in the subject line. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within any period the law sets. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Changes to this notice

If our practices change, we will update this page and the date above.
